Backrest for Dragon Boats

A detachable backrest for dragon boats based on the principles of inclusive design. 

We created it for Parkinson's disease patients who require support in order to row.

The backrest provides the opportunity for safe and comfortable outdoor physical activity and exercise.

As an inclusive design project, the backrest is suitable for anyone seeking extra comfort in a dragon boat, not only those who could not row without it.

Done as part of a Fixperts course at the Holon Institute of Technology, in partnership with the Daniel Rowing Center.
