Introduction: Ballistics Demonstrator(76-mm Cannon Model)

Things needed for this project:

  1. 3D printer
  2. CNC machine
  3. Cardboard
  4. Chop sticks
  5. wood
  6. PVC pipe
  7. rubber bands
  8. bilge pump hose
  9. 2 liter bottle

Step 1: Design

draw out clear plan for the building of the project

Step 2: Draw Up the Parts Needed in Solid Works

the barrel tip

the shell

the tip of the musle loader

the lock spinner for the aim system

Step 3: Start the Prints for the Project

Make sure u use a fudge factor of each hole or part that you make to ensure the fit of the part to the other non printed pieces.

Step 4: Collect the Pieces Printed

Step 5: Cut Out Pieces for the Base of the Cannon

Step 6: Clue Each Piece Together

Step 7: Build an Adapter for the 2 Liter and Hose

use the PVC and bottle cap

cut out a hole the size of the PVC pipe and put it through

keep the hole smaller to the size of the pipe to reduce air loss

Step 8: Use the CNC Machine to Cut Out the Shield

Step 9: Start the Assembly

Put the hose through the hole in the back of the card board base and put enough through to give it mobility for the aiming of the barrel

then take the adapter and 2 liter and attach them to the hose

Step 10: Finish Assembly
