Supplies

4 36" wood pieces

turning tools

sandpaper

oil/varnish finish

Glue

Step 1:

Glue 4 36-inch flat pieces that are 1 inch thick together.

Let that dry overnight.

Step 2: Prep for Shaping

Mark center at both ends and place it onto the Lathe.

Step 3: Shaping

Using your Turing tools shape the wood into a cylinder that has a 3-inch circumference.

Step 4: Shape the Bat

After having a 3-inch cylinder, you now shape it into a bat. Making the handle, barrel and end

Step 5: Sanding

After shaping the wood into a bat, you now sand the bat making it extra smooth.

Step 6: Oil

Oil the bat, makes a nice finishing touch.
