Introduction: Bc 547 Led Chaser | How to Make a Led Chaser|

About: YouTube creator freeform circuit buider

This is the making of a LED chaser which is based on a NPN transistor(bc547) and some bunch of other commonly hardwares such as resistors and capacitors

Supplies

  1. bc 547 (NPN transistor)
  2. 9 pc blue led (5mm/3mm)
  3. 10 kilo ohms resistor (0.25w)
  4. 22 ohms resistor
  5. 100 uf capacitor
  6. 19 SWGcopper wire
  7. breadboard
  8. enamelled copper wire

Step 1: THE CIRCUIT

so i have made tthis flasher to work in 12volts but you could also make this project in 5v which is more convinient to work with

Step 2: Making the Base

the total structure of this project was made by using copper wires which are then bend and solderd to shape . I have chosen a rectangular cuboid structure of this build as it is easy to build

here i have usde 19SWG copper wire

Step 3: Making the LED BAR

MAKING THE LEB BAR

The led bar is made out of 9 pieces of 5mm blue colour led (colour coes not matter)

  • all the negative terminal of the led are also connected to the negative terminal ( the base )
  • connect the LED into pairs of three and connect seperate wires for them

Step 4: The Circuit Making

THE CIRCUIT MAKING

the whole base as the ground terminal

  • connect emittor ( 3rd pin ) of the three transistors to ground
  • connect 10 kilo ohms resistors to the base (2 nd pin ) of the three transistors
  • connect 100 uf capacitor's negtive to base of the three transistors
  • connect 22 ohms resistors to collector pin (1st pin ) of the three transistors
  • connect the positive terminal of the capacitors to the proceeding transistors collector pin (1st pin )
  • connect all the resistors un connected end together asit is the positve terminal of this led flasher
  • connect the positive part of every led set to the collector pin ( 1st pin ) of the three transistors

the circuit is complete now

Step 5: Soldering Led Bar to Frame

now we have tho solder the led bar to the copper frame

Step 6: Testing

all our circuit is done i've made the 12v version the circuit diagram above is for making it in5v
