Okay, let's get to the topic. This project is about making beautiful lamp that enhances the beauty of a home.
When I was cleaning my yard, I found two springs (one smaller and one bigger) covered with glue and dust. I thought that it may be a part of something and someone may have thrown it away. I cleaned it with water until it became shiny. I played with it and after a couple of days, an idea came to my mind to make a light with it.
Believe me, it's easy to make but gorgeous to look at! Let's go through step by step.

Supplies

Materials required to make this project:

PVC pipe (inner dia 28mm and outer dia 37mm | image 1)
Stainless steel pipes (2 pieces: both dia 12.7mm & length 242mm and 200mm respectively | image 2)
Rice lights (image 3)
M-seal
Wires (image 4)
Springs (you can also use your creativity if you don't have one like this> | image 5)
Paper (thin and white | image 6)
DC 5v 1A adapter (basically a mobile phone charger | image 7)
Cardboard (image 8)
White radium sticker (image 9)
Glue (it will be used to stick paper)

Tools required to make this project:

Hot glue gun
Saw
Soldering iron
Soldering wire
Wire cutter and stripper
Paper cutter (to cut white radium stickers)
Sanding paper

Step 1: Design

You can skip this step if you want to follow my design.
In this step I am going to tell you how to design.
You can think and develop a virtual image and/or make a sketch on paper. Include materials that you have or you can buy. Make final image/sketch after thinking about every physical aspects like weight, durability etc. Your final image/sketch should contain all the measurements. If you are not sure about some measurements, you can decide it while making it actually. You can start making once final image is ready.

Step 2: Body

The body consists of two stainless steel pipes and one PVC pipe piece. The measurements are mentioned supplies list. Cut the PVC pipe in half lengthwise (see image 10). Note: my pipe is not cut in exactly half because I used bigger part in my COB LED desk lamp project (Check it out here!) and smaller part was left. So I used it in this project. Next, make two holes with the same diameter as steel pipe in the half cut PVC pipe piece (see images 11, 12). You can use either drill machine or heat the steel pipe until it becomes slightly red and then apply it on PVC pipe piece (this is what I did). Next, cover the PVC piece with white radium sticker (see images 13, 14, 15 | It is recommended to do some sanding before applying white sticker because it will make holes smoother therefore it will avoid bump around the hole as you can see it in image 13). Then we have to install both steel pipes in the holes. Use M-seal to fix the structure (see images 16, 17, 18, 19).
Congrats! The body is ready!

Step 3: Installing Light Bulbs and Wiring

This is what rice light bulbs look like (image 3). I have got them from series lights. This bulbs can distribute light in all directions and that's why I chose it. Now, connect wire (longer than steel pipe) to the bulb (image 20). Then insert light bulb in a small piece of straw to keep it straight (see image 21). Next, you have to pass the wires through the pipe. Then fix the bulbs using hot glue (see images 22, 23, 24). Connect the wires in parallel to get terminal voltage of the source (adaptor) on both bulbs and therefore maximize the output power [P=(V^2)/R]. Next, cut two pieces of cardboard according to image 25. Then cover it with white radium sticker (images 25, 26, 27, 28) and then stick it to both sides of PVC pipe as shown in image 29 and 30. I have made a small rectangular gap in one of them to get power wire out. It is always good to test our project frequently when we are making it. At this stage, you can test the lights. It is almost done!

Step 4: Making and Installing Paper Shades

In order to get my job done, I used normal white paper that I got from my diary. I used that paper to make shades for light bulbs. Width of the paper should be slightly bigger than the circumference of the steel pipe (so that we can stick both edges and make hollow pipe of paper). The length of the paper will be equal to the length of the spring. Now, it's time to stick both overlapping edges together using glue. You will get a hollow pipe of paper. Make another one. Stick them to steel pipe as shown in image 31 (Quick Tip: It is a better idea to roll paper over the steel pipe and stick the ovoerlapping edges with the help of glue while taking care not to stick it with steel pipe. After that, slide that paper cylinder towards the end of the steel pipe and stick it there using glue such that it covers the rice light). Finally, Stick the springs over the paper shade as shown in image 32. I used hot glue to stick the springs but I recommend to use superglue.
Done!

Step 5: Test

Great! This is the time to test your project. Just plug it to 5V 1A adaptor and switch on! You can see the final result in images. Enjoy the fruit of your efforts!
