Beer Can Camping Chair Feet

Introduction: Beer Can Camping Chair Feet

Light weight 'halinox style' camping chairs are great, except on soft ground, where they will sink in and make you off balance. These feet will make that less likely. They are light weight, don't take up much space and inexpensive to make.

Supplies

8 beer cans
Hallinox styled chair

Tools:
Knife
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Sandpaper

Step 1: Make the Feet (part 1)

i) Cut the bottoms off 8 beer cans
ii) Trim with scissors, (wear eye protection while doing this)

Step 2: Make the Feet (part 2)

iii) Sand them so the glue will stick better.
iv) Glue in pairs, one on top of the other, so you have 4.

Step 3: Glue Feet to Chair Legs

Glue the feet you have made to the bottom of the chair's legs. Use a hot glue gun and be generous with the glue.

Step 4: Finished, Ready for Use

Enjoy sitting in your camping chair without that sinking feeling!

I tried, but before finishing the 7th beer, my wife sents me to bed.
