Introduction: Belt or Pocket Water Bottle Holder

An issue with someone working on a project is the time necessary to take water breaks. My water bottle holder, which will fit most drinks, will reduce break times. It has a clip so that it can easily be hung from your Pocket or belt.

Step 1: Research and Inspiration

First, I thought of a water bottle holder and then researched it. My goal was to create a simple yet effective design.

Step 2: Design

I went through a couple of different designs until I settled on one.

First, I created the base holder shape.

Then I made the handle that holds it onto your pocket or belt.

Next, I fillited around the top and bottom and where the base meets the handle to make the design stronger.

My next step was to make a design to fit inside the cup holder that gives me a space between the outside and the inside for my styrofoam insulator.

My last step was to create a Lid to fit between the outside and inside and cover the top for better insulation.

Step 3: Print

First, I printed the base cup holder

Then I printed the insulation part where I put Aluminum foil between the inside cup holder and the outside layer of the cup holder

Lastly, I printed the lid to fit on top of the cup holder

All prints were created out of PETG filament

Step 4: Final Product

My final design was a success with an insulated cup holder that fit most bottles and or cans.
