Introduction: Best Settings for No Lag - Minecraft

About: So, I'm a 6th grader with an extremely high IQ (I'm a genius, in fact). I like math, reading, coding, Legos, Minecraft, Gimkit, and origami. There's not really much to it other than that.

This is an Instructable about how to make Minecraft as non-laggy as possible!

Supplies

  1. Minecraft 1.8+

Step 1: Options

Go to "Options" in the title screen

Step 2: Video Settings

Click on "Video Settings"

Step 3: Set the Settings

Unfortunately, I cannot sow all the settings at once. So, instead, read below.

  1. Graphics: Fast
  2. Smooth Lighting: Off
  3. Use VSync: Off
  4. View Bobbing: Off
  5. Particles: Minimal
  6. Mipmap Levels: Off
  7. Entity Shadows: Off
  8. Fullscreen: Doesn't Matter*
  9. Show FPS: Doesn't Matter*
  10. Show Player: Doesn't Matter*
  11. Show World HUD: Doesn't Matter
  12. Chunk Lag Fix: On
  13. Render Distance: 4 chunks
  14. Max Framerate: Unlimited
  15. 3D Anaglyph: Off (obviously)
  16. GUI Scale: Auto
  17. Clouds: Off
  18. FXAA Antialiasing
  19. Alternate Blocks: Doesn't Matter*
  20. Fog: Off
  21. Show FNAW Skins: Doesn't Matter*
  22. Show XYS: Doesn't Matter*
  23. Show Stats HUD: Doesn't Matter
  24. 24h Day: Doesn't Matter
