Introduction: Blinking LED Lights

I made a Blinking LED Light for my Mechatronics Class. Make sure there is also a wire going towards a number.

Supplies

Supplies Needed:

  1. LED Light
  2. Arduino
  3. Wires
  4. Resistor
  5. Computer
  6. Cable Connector

Step 1:

First, check that the LED works by using a battery, resistors, and wires to make sure the LED lights up.

Step 2:

Set up the breadboard with the LED on it. Make sure to use a resistor to prevent the LED from breaking. Then connect the Arduino to the computer and open up Arduino IDE.

Step 3:

Use the code in the picture to have a blinking LED. The Code was given in class by the instructor from the SPARKFUN Development/Book. The number 13 can be changed depending on what number the Arduino is connected to.
