Our board game is hexagon alley!

Step 1: Materials and Machines Used

1. 4' by 4' block of wood 1cm thick

2. 3D printer Ultimaker

3. Laser engraver

4. White paint

5. Blue paint

6. Red paint

7. Paper

Step 2: Design Playing Pieces!

1. Open Fusion360

2. Create new project

3. Create the playing piece

4. Create square

5. Extrude it

6. Chanfer it

7. Create a new square on top of the original square

8. Extrude it

9. Create sphere on top of the rectangle

10. File and hit 3D print

11. Uncheck send to 3D printer

12. Save to OneDrive

Step 3: Design Board

1. Open CorelDraw

2. Create a new 4' by 4' project

3. Create design

4. Make hexagon

5. Copy and paste hexagons all over the board

6.Use the text tool to create the text

7. File and export

8. Save to OneDrive

Step 4: Make Board

1. Get a piece of wood

2. Adjust the setting on the printer for wood

3. Turn on exhaust

4. Choose you file

5. Hit go

6. Paint board

Step 5: Make Rules and Trivia Cards

1. Print trivia cards

2. Print out rules

3. Cut out trivia cards

Step 6: Paint Board

1. Spray paint the board white

2. Paint the words black

3. Paint the hexagons blue and red

4. Paint designs

Step 7: Print Game Pieces

1. Print file on Ultimaker

2. Hit print
