Book Decoupage

Easy way to make a piece of art out of an old book. Are You My Mother was my favorite book as a child and I kept it to read to my children. The cover fell off and the pages were messy so turning it into art was a great idea for me to keep it.

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You really only need a few things to complete this project.

• Old Book
• Mod podge
• Canvas
• Paint brush

Step 2: Cutting

Cut out your pictures and you can arrange them into an order that you like before gluing.

Step 3: Gluing

Put a layer of glue down. You do not want it to be to thick it will make the paper bubble up. Then lay on your pictures and put a layer of glue on top.

Step 4: Hang Up and Enjoy

When it is all done drying hang it up and enjoy.

A really good way to decorate the kids' room. Take their fav story and let them have it. Nice idea

love that idea!! one step farther, i work in a printing company and well loved books get a new life via transfers onto quiltblocks. you can make them any size you want. one lady made favorite story pictures part of her kids play tent. a bit pricey but dang it was cool!

Yes, we have well loved books all over out house. It is very easy and it doesnt really take that long. Thank you
