Bow & Arrow

The Bow and Arrow has been used during ancient times. It was originally made from woods like Hickory or Brich. I am pretty sure everybody likes bow and arrows. Nowadays bows and arrows are made from metal or plastic with mini pullies in most of them for tension. Bows have changed a lot overtime and have gotten more expensive. I am going to show you how to make a bow and arrow under $10 dollars. This is very easy and very fun to use. So lets make it.

Supplies

Skewer

Duct Tape

Windshield Wiper Blade

Twine or Fishing Line

Hot Glue or Craft Foam (Optional)

Black Marker (Optional)

Step 1: Reinforcing the Wiper Blade

At the two flex points on the wiper blades add pieces of duct tape and wrap for reinforcement so it doesnt break. This part helps flex the wiper blade but are easily broken so to help stop that add pieces of duct tape. The duct tape will give more tension.

Step 2: Attaching the String

To attach the string please watch the video given, but for a summary take both ends of the bow and look at the inside there should be a metal rood covered in rubber. Take that and spin the string around it on both ends and tighten. Please Watch Video above.

Step 3: The Arrow

The arrow is just the skewer, sand it down for safety so its not sharp then add hot glue or craft foam at the end of it or just leave it the way it is.

Step 4: Have Fun

Print out a target pull back and shoot!
