Brick Layer

First, get a piece of foam board or poster board, brick-colored paint, blue tape, string, screwdriver, red marker, spatula for brick, and scissors. 
Second, put the blue tape on the foam board in a brick pattern. Spray paint with the brick-colored paint.
Third, make a sign that says "Layer" with the red marker. 
Fourth, when the paint is dry, rip off the blue tape. Take the screwdriver and make two holes near the top of the foam board. Put the string through one hole and make a knot. Leave enough room for the string to go around your neck and then put the end of the string through the other hole and knot it. That is the brick costume.
Fifth, get your significant other to wear "work" clothes. Tape the Layer sign on and hold the spatula. 
Sixth, enjoy the party.
