Introduction: Brown Sugar Vanilla Body Scrub Recipe
DIY Brown Sugar & Vanilla Body Scrub Recipe
A FiberArtsy Tutorial
Last week I shared with you my super yummy Lemon Sugar Scrub Recipe
and I promised you the Brown Sugar & Vanilla Body Scrub so here it is.This scrub not only exfoliates your skin but it moisturizes at the same time. Plus, it’s made with all natural ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.
Also check out:
Step 1: Ingredients Needed:
1 1/2 Cups Light Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Oil (your choice, Olive and Sunflower work well)
1 TB Pure Vanilla Extract
Step 2:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. If the mixture is too
dry, add a bit more oil. You want it moist but not soupy wet.
Spoon the scrub into a sealable container such as a mason jar and enjoy! Works great on the whole body and smells delicious!
Enjoy!

What exactly are bath scrubs

It's a scrub that exfoliates your body or supposed to exfoliate your body. But like I said if you want to make an exfoliant yourself sugar is the worst thing you can use for your skin I understand that people say greens of sugar really wash away the dead skin cells on your body well there are other things out there better than sugar. Hope that helped for you and clear it up what a bath scrub is :-)

I'm just curious as to why you would put any kind of sugar into your body scrub especially for people who have acne being that they tell you to stay away from sugar cause it causes breakouts but now you going to rub it all over your face and exfoliate your face with the grains of sugar and expect that to help you with your acne or any other facial problems you have? Sugar is the worst thing to put on your face I could see using coffee grinds but not sugar I don't care if it's organic if it's cane I don't care what kind of sugar it is sugar is no good to be scrubbing on your face and your body unless you want to break out even more. My neighbor is a nutritionist/internal medicine doctor and her husband is a dermatologist and I just received a jar of the vanilla sugar scrub as a thank you gift for volunteering at my sons school and they literally laughed at me when I said "am I really supposed to put this on my face?" I will use it probably for baking but you'll never catch me putting this on my body! Y'all can have fun.

how long does the scrub last, before it starts going bad?
Reply 7 years ago
One way to help it last a little bit longer is to add a few drops of Vitamin E oil. You can find it at Walmart for a few bucks in the Vitamin Section. You can either buy the caplets, or the actual oil.

If you eat it. I've never had a problem with using it as a scrub

Considering the ingredients, it wont last forever. refrigerator will extend the life, but the biggest concern is the oil going rancid.
