Introduction: CFOP...... in Detail

About: I am a great sub-18 cuber from Colorado Springs, CO. I like sports walks on the beach and school. Although I'm only 11, I taught Naquore the Q-ber some stuff that he wouldn't know without me. I also taught mys…

It's KJCuber and today we're going to be learning CFOP in detail. These are just the first two steps. Cross, F2L.

Step 1: Cross

There is no instruction for this step you just have to do it.

Step 2: F2L Useful Cases

So, we're going to be learning F2l cases from left to right on the top bar. F2l is just pairing the edge with the corner and then putting it in correctly. These are cases that can be learned in days. Start at "case 2". It is the one next to the solved F2L. (*2) at the end of an algorithm means, repeat twice.

  • (R, U2, R', U)*2 F' ,U, F
  • ( R, U, R', U') R U' R' (U, R, U', R')
  • U' (R' F R F') R U' R'
  • (U R U' R') R U' R' (U R U' R')
  • F (U R U' R') R U' R'
  • R U2 R' U' R U R'

Step 3: OLL

This is the same thing as F2L, case-wise. the first one does count.

  • (R2' D) (R' U2) (R D') (R' U2 R')
  • (R' F) (R B') (R' F') (R B)
  • (R U R' U') (R' F R F')

For these last three, I'm showing you two look. Later instructables will show you how to do all 57 OLLs.

  • F (R U R' U') F'
  • f (R U R' U') f'
  • F (R U R' U') F' f (R U R' U') f'

PLL coming soon.
