Supplies

125 grams butter

1/4 cup dark cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

2 mashed bananas

1/2 cup plain flour plus 2 extra tablespoons

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup of chocolate chips

Step 1: To Make:

In a large saucepan melt:


125 grams butter.

Add:

1/4 cup dark cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 cup sugar.

Stir over low heat until the sugar has dissolved.

Add:

2 eggs, beating quickly to combine.

Add:

2 mashed bananas, 1/2 cup plain flour plus 2 extra tablespoons, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.

Mix and then add 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Pour into a lined slice pan and bake at 180 celsius for 30 minutes.

Leave to cool and then dust with icing sugar.
