Introduction: Cake Science

Cake science:
Our project is about cakes, how they affect your health in both positive and negative ways. We plan to give consumers a more vast field in the product since we have noticed nobody really cares nor knows about the different benefits and cualities they have. In this we plan to make some recepies publicly for people to now what they have and how every part of the cake has a nutritional value on your body but also damages it in a way.

Step 1: Cake Recepies

Our recepies have the nex ingredients:
Red velvet:
2 ½ cups of flour
1 teaspoon of bicarbonato
2 teaspoons of baking powder
3 teaspoons of powdered chocolate
1 ½ cups of sugar
7 eggs
3/4 cups of corn oil
1 cup of vinager
2 teaspoons of red food colorant
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Pound cake:
3 1/4 cups of flour
1 tablespoon coarse salt
4 sticks of unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
9 eggs

Step 2: Procedures

Red velvet:
1. Pre-heat the oven at 350 degrees Farenheit and grease 2 large pans
2. Put all the dry ingredients together in the same bowl
3. Separate yolks and the egg whites
4. Bake egg whites until they are foami
5. In annother container mix the oil, the sugar, the vinager, the yolk, the vanilla, the milk and the colorant in a same bowl until they         seem well mixed.
6. Mik the remaining egg whites in the mixture
7. put the mixtures in the pans and let it cook for 25 minutes.
Pound cake:
1. Pre-heat the oven at 350 degrees Farenheit grase a medium sized pan
2. Mix the butter
3. Add sugar to the butter and mix until it looks well
4. Add egg by egg mixing them well
5. Add vanilla
6. MIx the flour, royal and salt together
8. Add the dry engridients mixture to the cake iniciating with the milk and then with the mixture
9. cook for 30 minutes
