Step 1:

For this Instructable you will need the following:

Hammer
Bunch of different sized nails
Can with soft lid
Cheap kid lock

Step 2:

Hammer a few nails into one side of the soft lid on the can.

Step 3:

Make one small hole on top, and one longer one going down. Opposite to the nails.

Step 4:

Now you are done, and can just slip the lock through.
