We created this to get candy to trick or treaters from 6+ feet away for social distancing. We are doing this design because it had the highest votes from the other class.

Step 1: Made Drawings Out of Our Designs

We made ideas and drew them on paper with labels and details and explained how they would work.

Step 2: Vote Designs

The other team saw all our designs and voted one per table.

Step 3: Make Drawing of Chosen Design

We took the drawing of the design and made a bigger copy of it.

Step 4: Prototyping

We made our prototype from the big paper design and tested how far it would go. We kept improving it until it could go farther than it could at first. It went almost 30 feet!

Step 5: Make a List of Materials

We gave Mr. Shane a list of materials that we would need to make our final project.

Step 6: Cut Wood

We cut the wood into the measurements we needed with a pull saw. We cut the halflaps with a band saw and a mallet.

Step 7: Assemble

We assembled our frame and added the band and supports.

Step 8: Testing

We tested to make sure it would launch as far as we wanted.
