Carrot Pan Flute

For this project I made a pan flute using carrots.

To build this project you need:

1. Carrots(as many as you want)

2. Knife and cutting board

3. Drill and drill bit of 7/16 inch

4. Thread

5. Popsicle sticks

6. Hotglue

Step 1: Step 1: Cut the Carrots

Using your knife and the cutting board, cut the top of the carrots.

Step 2: Step 2: Drill the Carrots

This part is the most importat. Drill a hole at the midle of the carrot, and vary the depth of the hole so you could have different sounds from each of them.

Repeat this step for all the carrots. In my case I only used 4.

Test the soud of each carrot, you should have different soud from each.

And to end this step, number them.

Step 3: Step 3: Glue and Tight Them Together

In this step you will need the popsicle stick, the tread and the hotglue.

First, glue the popcicle stick and the carrot together.

Second, put a drop of hot glue it the popcicle stick and glue the thread.

Third, using the thread make a cross pater to tight the carrot to the stick, and put more hotglue.

Repeat this step for each carrot.

And if you want add a second support at the bottom of the carrots.

Step 4: Step 4: Test It

Your carrot pan flute is done now use it an make some music!

This is hilarious. And if you want to tune your flute you can just nibble a little off the end!
