I used about a foot in diameter cut piece. It's just under an inch thick. I used a router To circle the edges but only cut about a half inch down and had to flip the circle cut out to finish the other part. Than I used a jigsaw to cut out the Trinity symbol and the wee pieces of wood for the outside knot. Used also 4 different colors of paint and finished it with a coat of clear gloss finish.
Supplies
Pine wood. Jigsaw, router, paint, good tunes, maybe a red bull to crush?!
