Introduction: Change Windows 7 Logon Screen
Hello All, this instructable is all about changing Windows 7 Logon Screen. The Logon Screen is the screen that comes after the bootup scr5een and before Windows Desktop. In case your computer has more than one users configured, logon screen is a screen where you would click on your user name to logon to your account.
As Logon Screen is a screen that is specific to a Computer and not specific to a user account so in order to change it you would require first of all Admin priviledges of your computer.

Step 1: Get Admin Priviledges
In Order to change Windows 7 Logon Screen, you would need Admin Priviledges. The screenshot displays control panel option in Windows 7 where you can find out whether you do have admin priviledges or not. In case you do have Admin Priviledge, hurray, steps 1 is already done. In case you do not have admin priviledge, arrange for it or try this instructable on another pc on which you can have admin priviledge.
Step 2: Download & Install Software
Now once you are done with Step 1, you would need a small software download to change Windows 7 Logon Screen. The Free Software can be downloaded from http://www.murgee.com/logon-controller/. The Software will allow you do change Windows 7 Logon Screen with just one click and will provide you thumbnail images to select any image from your computer to be set as Windows 7 Logon Screen. Have a look at the image in this step, it says all.
Step 3: Click & Change Windows 7 Logon Screen
Now Launch the Software Downloaded which displays many thumbnail images. Just click on any of the image from the thumbnails and that image file would be set as your Windows 7 Logon Screen Image.
Step 4: Verify Windows 7 Logon Screen
This step assumes that you still remember the password of your logged on account which you would need later in this step.
Now in order to verify whether the Windows 7 Logon Screen has been changed to your selected image, click on Lock Computer Button in the software or press Windows Key + L Key. This will present you Windows 7 Logon Screen, where you can logon to your account with your acount password (if set).
That's it, now you know the complete procedure and in order to change the Windows 7 Logon Screen image again, you only need to click on an image file, that's it.
