I loved this but I made some additions....can of kidney beans (rinsed), 2 cans chick peas, sliced black olives, dill, rice wine vinegar, red onion, chopped celery and cucumber, fresh ground pepper, lemon zest, salt, omitted tomatoes but
I also let the mixture sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes before I added the oil and vinegar

Wow I really liked this! It's simple but the flavors are very good together, although I have to admit I added some extra ingredients, I added black olives and some red onion. Also I was out of feta so I used cottage cheese instead, but still nice recipe! :)

This. is. sublime. My boyfriend and I don't like green peppers (he doesn't like yellow either), so I added avocado instead. Feta makes this dish amazing, which is why it shouldn't be optional. We didn't have any all-spice at my house so I used pepper. :D -Vanessa

I make a chickpea salad that is practically identical to this (have you been sneaking into my kitchen! :-) except that I add cilantro. Another cool additive is a handful of sprouted lentils that I eat just about every day of my life. I know this is a great recipe since I eat it all the time! Thanks for sharing.

Looks and sounds really great! Can't wait to try it. Looks like the "ingredient list" needs to be corrected to say "pepper" instead of "onion".

Thanks for catching that! I fixed it... apparently I had onion on my mind. -Joe

I saw this earlier today and made it this evening. I thought I had seasoned salt to substitute for the Greek spices but did not. I improvised and used garam masala with some extra salt & pepper. Also had naan bread & mango chutney with it. Verdict: A Winner!

Sounds awesome. Try grating your garlic with a microplane - it basically weaponizes all that garlicky goodness.

Thanks for the tip, I never used a microplane, but now I have a reason to go to sur la table... -Joe
