Introduction: Chicken and Dumplings Recipe
Easy to make chicken and dumplings for any time comfort food is needed.
Supplies
-1 box or 2 cans of Chicken Broth
-3 cans of Plain Biscuits
-1 package of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Strips (approximately 1.5lbs)
-1 can Cream of Chicken
-1 cup of Flour
-Parchment Paper
Step 1: Fill Pot
Place Chicken, Cream of Chicken, and Chicken Broth in a large pot. Fill the rest of the pot with water. Pot should be 3/4 full.
Step 2: Boil Chicken
Bring the chicken to a boil on medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: Cut Biscuits
While chicken is beginning to boil, open the 3 cans of biscuits. Lay out a large piece of parchment paper and sprinkle the paper with flour. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Lay the pieces of biscuits out on the parchment paper and sprinkle flour on the top as well.
Step 4: Cut Chicken
Once chicken is fully cooked, remove it from the pot and cut into smaller pieces. After chicken is cut, return to pot.
Step 5: Add Dumplings
After all the chicken is added back into the pot, place dumplings in the pot carefully to avoid splashing. Stir each time after adding 10-12 dumplings.
Step 6: Seasonings
Add salt and pepper if desired.
Step 7: Final Step
Cook chicken and dumplings together for 20 minutes and Serve.
