Introduction: Chimichurri
This easy argentinian sauce is used on grilled or roasted meats.
Step 1: Chimichurri
Ingredients:
- Cilantro, a handfull
- Oregano, about 6 springs, the leaves striped
- Thyme, about 3 springs
- Basil, 10 large leaves
- 1 large garlic clove minced small
- 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
Step 2:
Chop the herbs as fine as you can. A very sharp knife will help. I tried on my blender but the consistency was not good.
Step 3:
Add Lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix it all together and let it sit for a few minutes.
Step 4:
Serve and enjoy!!!
Here I had it with Cilantro grilled corn, Brasilian white rice and grilled prime rib. It also goes great with grilled pork, roasted chicken and sausages.

Chimichurri Argentino:
White vinegar 2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
4 tbsp warm water
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp chopped parsley
Oregano 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp
Laurel 1 sheet
1 pinch sugar
Salt and pepper
