Introduction: Clock Project

We are making a clock out of re-usable objects.We just finished a lesson where we learned about re-using. I chose a piece of wood that was covered in marks to make my clock. Then the piece of wood that otherwise would sit and rot, I re-used.

Supplies

1 piece of wood

1 clock motor

Step 1: Step 1: Shape Your Piece of Wood

Cut the wood to the size you want it.

Step 2: Step 2: Sand the Wood

Use the sander to make your piece of wood nice and smooth. This will make it look better.

Step 3: Step 3: Inkscape

Use Inkscape to make the hole where your clock motor will fit.

Step 4: Step 4: Get Stuff Cut

Get the clock hole cut and where the motor goes.

Step 5: Step 5: Put Poly On

You should put polyurethane on the clock so it will last longer.

Step 6: Step: 6 Put It Together

You should put the clock motor after the polyurethane dries. Then put the hands on and you are done.

Step 7: Step 7: Present It

You can present your project in a spot that the clock would fit.
