Introduction: Cocoon
Cocoons are a delicious cookie that are great to have at Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, or even just a special meal you want to end with a dessert your guests will definitely want the recipe for! They are made with finely crushed pecans lots of butter and rolled in powdered sugar. Yum! They are soft and sweet. :)
Step 1: The Recipe
-1/2 lb. butter, melted
-3 c. flour, not sifted
-4 tbsp. sugar
-Pinch of salt
-1 c. pecans, ground fine
-2 tbsp. vanilla
-3 c. flour, not sifted

Step 2: Making the Cocoons
-Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
-Mix pecans with the above ingredients.
-Add melted butter and vanilla.
-Roll and shape into cocoon shapes.

-Roll and shape into cocoon shapes.
Step 3: Baking the Cocoons
-Preheat oven to 350F.
-Place the cocoons in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes.
-While hot, roll in powdered sugar.
-Enjoy!
*remember wax paper can NOT be put in the oven for baking
