Introduction: Coffee and Cream Popsicles

About: I work in the mental health field as therapist in a residential treatment program. I also have a duel career in health and wellness doing massage and personal exercise training. My hobbies which spill over in…

These are vegan and delicious. You don't have to make them vegan but I highly suggest it as the coconut milk is so good in this.

Step 1: You Will Need...

Coffee (or beans and a coffee maker)
Sugar (I used caster sugar for its ease of dissolving. But any will work.)
Can of coconut milk (use the can. It is creamier)
And you will need some sort of mold

And freezer space.

Step 2: Make Coffee

Make a good cup of coffee. Strong. Some key things to make it good; Start with qualify beans. Grind it fresh. Brew it right.

Or go with cold brew. Grady's Cold Brew is my pick if you are looking to make this easier.

Step 3: The Cream

Add sugar to your coconut milk. You do not need much 2-4 table spoons for the whole can.

Step 4: Cream Top

Pour a small amount of the sweetened cream into the molds. Then place then in the freezer.

Step 5: One Hour Should Do It

Leave the cream in for an hour to harden.

Step 6: Add Coffee

Add the remaining cream to the coffee. Then when pour into the molds with the already frozen cream tops.

This part you can get creative with. You can leave the coffee black and add a lot of sugar. You can add lots of milk or just a little. Sweeten it to whatever you desire.

Step 7: Place the Sticks

If you don't have a fancy mold like mine and you are using real Popsicle sticks you may want to try and jam them into your partly Frozen cream tops so it stands up.

Then just place it all in the freezer until it is frozen. Over night to be safe.
