Introduction: Community Street Seed Library

This is a seed library. We will place it in our school's garden, and visitors will be able to leave their organic waste and seeds here.

Supplies

4 pieces of long compressed fiberwood,

7 pieces of wooden plywood, 2 hinges (3D printed),

4 wooden pallets,

1 wooden plywood signboard for display

Step 1:

We wanted to make it from recycled materials, so our first step was to search for and gather the necessary materials.

Step 2:

We thought wooden pallets would be suitable for us, so we took them apart, removed the nails, sanded them down, and prepared them for use.

Step 3:

We cut the material known as OSB into four pieces. Then, we used a jigsaw to cut the plywood sheets according to the measurements.

Step 4:

Then, for our openable lid, we used laser cutting to cut the plexiglass.

Step 5:

Again for the lid, we 3D-printed hinges and mounted them.

Step 6:

Then we started assembling the pieces. We began by building the base, nailing together all the parts we had cut for the legs.

Step 7:

Next, we nailed together the walls and roof of the seed bank at the top.

Step 8:

Finally, we screwed the base and the seed library together and added the decorations.
