Introduction: Convert Any Microscope Into Digital Microscope With Just $20
Hello Everyone !!!!
Want a digital microscope at low cost ? Have you look at the pictures given here, theses pictures are taken from my normal microscope which is just $25, already owned a microscope and want to covert that into a digital microscope at low cost, Then this instructable is exactly for you.
Uses of converting into digital microscope :
* High Quality Pictures
* We can save the specimens for feature use
* Comfortably view and research the specimen without head ache or back pain
* We can capture our own images for research
* We connect it with projector an teach the students under real environment
* All the features at only $20
Step 1: Step 1: Make Your Microscope Ready
This is my microscope, First remove the eye piece or remove the complete tube like section which I marked for best result, You can remove that tube like structure by just unscrewing, This method is suitable for most of the microscopes. and also add a LED with a switch and battery (don't forget to add a resistor to prevent burning of LED).
Step 2: Step 2: Make Your Camera Ready
For Best result you need a webcam of 20 Megapixels,
Here I used I ball 20 Megapixel webcam which is just $20.
Remove the cover and lens of the webcam, Because, Microscope already contains magnifying lens.
YOU MUST REMOVE THE LENS OF WEBCAM, IT CAN DONE BY JUST UNSCREWING THE LENS.
Step 3: Step 3: Attach You Camera With the Microscope
Just attach your Microscope and Webcam together with some glue. That's all, At the time of writing this instructable, I gave my microscope to my school, so I am unable to upload the actual image of microscope and camera but images of specimen are 100% real and taken with my microscope.
Step 4: ENJOY !!!!
ENJOY WITH THE CRYSTAL CLEAR IMAGES OF YOUR SPECIMEN BY JUST PLUGGING THE CAMERA TO YOUR COMPUTER AND USE ANY CAMERA SOFTWARE.

NCH Software for 50 dollars CAN per computer is the cost for that cpu-life which is very useful to know.

Keep in mind many of the Software material for your camera are not free. Expect to pay 35 to 60 dollars US for the software for a year use. Yes this is a good instructable but this is the missing part. I got it to work (I made a good digital microscope).

My Miscrope was orignally 240 dollars on Sale normally 650 dollars on Boreal Science. It goes from 10 x to 100 x so 40 mag to 1000x. I like to use it to see bacteria, and yeast with it.

I have a cheap microscope camera that I can attach to my computer and use it to see things under my Microscope. It was a digital type but that part died out (software). This could be very useful Indeed.
I also want to add Polar gratings to get this: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/K-F-Concept-52-55-58-62-67-72-77mm-Slim-UV-CPL-Polarizer-FLD-Lens-Filter-Kit/322846292432?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Da9c3971c445e4aac9b827b8535667bd1%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D323114264655%26itm%3D322846292432&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A599a4fff-5f9d-11e9-b83a-74dbd18088cf%7Cparentrq%3A21e034f416a0ac88dadb1ed8fff43f8f%7Ciid%3A1

how much is the 20 megapixel webcam cost
Reply 5 years ago
There is not such thing as a 20 MPx webcam, that is just a marketing scam. Use a 2.1 MPx camera (one that can record 1080p) and you will be fine.

Great instructable, but you need to show a picture of the camera attached to the scope. Perhaps a friend at school can photograph it and send you the image.

Yeah, I can attach the photograph of the microscope and camera, i will upload that after my exams are over.
