Step 1: Gather Materials

Listed in supplies

Step 2: Cut the Top Board

Cut the 1/2" maple plywood with a table saw to the dimensions of 48x24. The table saw will cut out 1/8 inch from your 48 inch board. It is okay for the 24 inch side to not be exact as long the boards width is between 23.5 in - 24 in.

Step 3: Cut the Hole in the Top Board

Use a CNC router to cut a 6''inch whole diameter, 9'' from the top of the board (centered).

Step 4: Cut the Frame Pieces

Use the Miter Saw to cut 2x 2x4s at 20.75''. Cut 2x 2x4s at 47.75".

Step 5: Cutting the Legs

Rip the 2x4 at 3" cut in half at a 100 degree angle, which will give you two pieces that will give you two legs. From the lower edge on each piece, measure up the length to 11.66 inches. Cut at that measurement.

Using a pencil and ruler, measure from the top of each leg (not the slanted side) 1.5 inches in and 1.5 inches down. Mark this point with a pencil. Using a compass set at a radius of 1.5 inches, sweep out the path of an arc centered at this point. Use the band saw to roughly cut each leg around this arc, then finally use the belt sander to match this path exactly.

At the point marked in pencil, drill straight through the wood with a quarter-inch drill bit.

Step 6: Sand Everything

Sand all of the cut materials down to smooth it out and prepare it for staining. Start with with coarse sandpaper and then move to fine sandpaper to get a good finish.

Step 7: Staining and Polying

Use Wood conditioner on the board after going over it with a tac cloth. Wait for this to dry and then sand and use a tac cloth as well and put your preferred stain on it in your preferred amount of layers. After this apply poly to the board to complete the board

For the frame and the legs use Poly on it with a brush and after using a tac cloth and sanding it. Use this to how many layers needed.

Read the containers for instructions on staining.

Step 8: Put the Board on the Frame

Apply a thin layer of wood glue across the top of the frame. Line the board up with the frame, and hold it in place with clamps. With the board clamped in place, use a nail gun to secure the board before the glue is dry.

Step 9: Attach the Legs

Get 2 1/4 inch bolts and wing nuts. Drill a 1/4 inch hole 3.25 inches in from the edge and centered vertically. Do that on both sides. Then drill a 1/4 inch hole in the legs centered in the arc. Then put the bolt into the hole on the frame and attach the legs. Make sure the slant of the legs lays flat on the floor when the legs have been folded out.

Step 10: Attach the Light (Optional)

Light up the led corn hole light (6 inches in diameter) with the hole in the board. Make sure the orientation of the light puts the battery pack in a convenient place. Use a punch to make a hole where the screws for the light will go and screw in the screws. Then remove the sticky cover from the battery pack and attach to the back of the board.
