Supplies

Ingredients (5–6 servings):

900 g (2 lbs) frozen mussels (thawed)

400 g (14 oz) pasta (spaghetti or any pasta you like)

A large bunch of parsley

500 ml (2 cups) heavy cream

Salt & black pepper to taste

Step 1:

Boil the Pasta

Place a pot of water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Add salt to the water. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook until done.

Step 2:

Prepare the Parsley

While the pasta cooks, finely chop the fresh parsley.

Step 3:

Cook the Mussels

In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mussels and a little salt. After a couple of minutes, season with black pepper and add the chopped parsley. Mix everything well.

Step 4:

Add the Cream

Right after mixing, pour in the heavy cream. Turn off the heat immediately — the mussels and sauce will finish cooking under the lid. Cover the pan and let the flavors blend while the pasta finishes cooking.

Step 5:

Combine and Serve

Drain the cooked pasta in a colander. Portion the pasta onto plates. Spoon the creamy mussels on top. Your restaurant-style pasta is ready to enjoy!

Step 6:

Final Step: Taste!

Take a fork, try it…

Buon appetito! 🍝💛
