Hi. I’m QB the Cube Bot. I can be built in less than four (4) minutes.

In order to do so, here are some details needed regarding exactly how to beat the clock.

Supplies

a pair of scissors and tape

Step 1: Cube Bot

The most important thing to keep in mind is precision is not necessary.

NEEDED TOOLS: a pair of scissors and tape
OPTIONAL: writing instrument, ruler

The next things to remember are to cut the solid lines and fold the dashed lines.

Separate my base from my body and my body from my arms.

Body

Fold and/or cut where applicable

Create a square tube; tape edge to secure

Fold front and back flaps and tape edges to secure

Base

Tape the outer edges together lapping ¼ inch over edges

Tape layers together at the center point

Fold both layers at the fold lines

Arms

Roll, twist, or chevron fold

Separate

Place tape on one edge of each arm

Using 1 inch tape strips, affix arms near the top of the sides at the center point.

Affix the body to the base taping at the center point.
