Introduction: Cubic Box With No Flat Surfaces
Boxs normally have 6 flat surfaces, just for something different, I thought I would make one with no flat surfaces or straight edges. It could be used as a money box or something else.
Step 1: Getting an Idea
As I wasn't sure what a box without any flat surfaces would look like, I got some modelling clay and played around with it a bit. This lead to the idea of using some big spheres and small spheres.
Step 2: Balls
Two bigger balls and some smaller balls were purchased.
Six circles were drawn on the bigger balls using a cup.
These were cut out using a knife and scissors and then used for the box's sides.
Step 3: Six Sides
As a cube has 6 sides, six circles from the bigger balls were stuck together to make a cubic box.
They were temporary held together with tape and then glued together from the inside with a hot glue gun.
Step 4: Corners
Corners were made using the small balls and attached with hot glue.
Step 5: Box With No Flat Sides
The completed box can be used for many things.
