Introduction: Customize Your Objects With Your Own Stickers
I love adding faces to my objects so I think about them as cartoons. I hope you like adding faces, your name or decoration to your objects with your own stickers.
Step 1: What Do You Need?
For creating your own stickers you will need:
1. A printed paper with the images you want for your stickers
2. Transparent tape
3. Scissors
4. A small bowl with water
5. The objects you want to customize
Para crear tus propios stickers vas a necesitar:
Step 2: How Do You Do It?
1. Apply the tape over the image you want. Everything that is white in the image will be transparent in the sticker.
2. Press heavily over the image.
3. Cut the paper.
4. Soak it in water for 3 minutes.
5. Take it out from the water, and start cleaning the paper.
6. Take the object you want to customize and just apply the tape on it, wherever you want! (Don't worry about the water on the tape, just press the tape over the object, it will stick to it.)
Step 3: Make a Cartoon of Your Object
Following the same steps, you can add faces to your objects. The best thing is that you can change part of the face if you didn´t like it and when you take off the sticker it wont leave marks on the object (As shown in the pictures).
Now, enjoy creating your own stickers!
¡Ahora, disfruta creando tus propios Stickers!

First of all, thank you for this Cool and Easy instructable this project reminds me when I was at school I almost customized everything this way, its the same way to print on PCB boards and I've found out before you soak in water if u warm the sticker with iron for 15 sec on low setting (don't melt plastic tape ) ink will stick better and the paper will remove easier so you end up with a more professional sticker !

Question 4 years ago
will it work with inked jet printed or only laser printed picture ?
Does it work with color too (i suppose, but ...)
Answer 4 years ago
Only laser, I tried with inked jet printed but didn`t work.

Well to be honest yes it works, But the chance to get a high-quality sticker is low it gets messy and dark and most of the time you end up with no clear shape (laser jet will stick better to the tape rather than inkjet ) and you can do a colorful sticker also but it has the same problem some times and a tip (edit your image and print it more reach in color so it doesn't end up blurry !)
if u want to make a colorful sticker you don't need to remover the background (paper ) just cut your shape and use a double sided tape to stick it on every surface to be honest its the best way to make a sticker!
