Intro: HOW TO MAKE a BLACK SAND WATER FILTER

You need a cup,cheesecloth,knife for this step.

STEP 1: Grind Some Charcoal

STEP 2: Dump Charcoal in Filter Cup

STEP 3: Add Sand

STEP 4: Put Cheesecloth Over It

STEP 5: Add Some Charcoal Again

STEP 6: Then Sand

STEP 7: Finally Put Cheesecloth at Top of Cup, Filter Is Done Enjoy:)

so how do you get the filtered water out the holder??

How well does this filter work??? Is it more of a sedimentary filter, or would it work with chemical (i.e. fluoride, etc.) as well???
