This video is all about connecting DHT11 Temperature/Humidity Sensor with Raspberry Pi. I have used a python script to interact with the sensor mainly but is run by a JAVA application. Thsi might help you if u are a JAVA developer and looking forward to use this in your Pi. Pyhon user can readily use the script without the JAVA app in their application.

    Are you kidding me? java code is calling python code. It is not java project at all.

    The only problem with the "Java" implementation is that is using python and Java is just calling an external program
