I am planning to do a Quick Hacks series for simpler builds with some cheap materials. Here is the first post in the series.

I am building a quick DIY torch using a 1W LED and a 9V battery here.

Required Materials:

  • 1W LED Chip
  • LED Heat Sink
  • 6pin Push Button
  • Perfboard
  • 9V Battery

Required Tools:

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Soldering Iron
  • Instant Adhesive
  • Wire Stripper
  • Nipper
