RTL8720DN is a dual-band WiFi (2.4G +5GHz) + BLE5.0 SoC amde by Realtek. It runs on ARM Cortex M33 archtecture and has dual cores, one clocked at 20MHz, and another at 200MHz. What make it amazing to use is that it is selling at $3 only on Aliexpress, that make it one of the cheapest and strongest IoT SoC in this prince range.

Programming it is easy, Arduino IDE should suffice.

Note that RTL8720DN is also known as BW16 -- a name given by the module manufacturer, and BW16 is already support on Arduino IDE, detailes on how to add this board to Arduino IDE can be found below,
