Introduction: DIY Easy Cocktail Umbrellas

These are so cute :)

Supplies

— toothpick

— 1 sticky note a.k.a post it notes

— scissors

— 2 small elastic bands (3 if you want to close it)

the supplies above make one umbrella

Step 1: Folding the Post It

Fold the post it in half into a rectangle. Then do it again into a square.

unfold.

fold the paper in half into a triangle. Do it again then unfold.

Step 2: Circle-ish Shape

Cut the post it into a circle like shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect. You may use something to help you draw the circle.

i just go for it.

Step 3:

Poke the toothpick through the center of your paper. It should be obvious to tell where the center is.

then make a little space at the top and put the rubber band on just like how you would put on a hair tie.

Step 4: Secure the Paper

Cut a elastic in half. Tie it on the other side of the umbrella. Slide it up. You can cut off the excess. I did double knots to be extra secure.

once you did that, fold the creases.

Step 5: Closing Up the Umbrella

Honestly, you can close the umbrella however you want.

i fold all of the creases to one corner.

use another elastic to secure it.
