Introduction: DIY French Fries Cup Holder

If you are one of the many people in the US who go through the drive through of fast food restaurants, then this can be useful for you. It is extremely difficult to hold a box of fries and dip them in your ketchup all while driving. This french fry cup holder makes it so that you can use your right hand to grab a fry, dip it in your ketchup, and then eat it with ease.

Step 1: What You Will Need

  • Scissors
  • Duct Tape or Hot Glue
  • A paper cup for a ketchup holder
  • Another paper cup to hold the fries, or in this case I used an orange cup from an old board game to make the appearance look nicer.

Step 2: Optional Step

For the first step I duct taped the bottom of the orange cup I grabbed from an old board game since there was no bottom. If you are using a paper cup to hold the fries then you can skip this step.

Step 3: Making the Ketchup Compartment

First, cut the top portion of the cup so you just have the base of the cup and about one inch on the sides. Then cut that part in half. Now you are able to tape this compartment to the side of the french fry cup.

Step 4: Taping the Ketchup Compartment to the French Fry Cup

Now all you have to do is tape or glue the ketchup compartment to the side of the french fry cup and you are ready to eat on the go!

Step 5: Finished Product

This is what the finished product looks like. You can now eat fries with ketchup with only your right hand and be able to drive at the same time! IMPORTANT NOTE: Put the fries and ketchup in their respective compartments before you start driving to avoid distraction!
