DIY HEART GARLAND HANGING DECORATION

Hello everyone! Today I am going to show you a simple creation. We'll be creating a heart garland. I had a few of my burlap hearts on hand and wanted to use them in this design. You can use any fabric or material for your hearts.

Supplies

Burlap hearts- or you can use any fabric or material for your hearts

Faux pressed flowers

Craft string

Wooden beads

Hot glue

E6000

Wooden letters

Scissors

Floral cutters

Step 1: Cutting Your Faux Pressed Flowers

Begin by taking your pressed flowers and leaves. Next, use your floral cutters and begin to cut them to size. I cut the stems of my flowers and leaves off on some.

Step 2: Attaching Flowers to Burlap Hearts

Step 3: Cutting Your String to Size

You are now ready to work with your string and beads. Use your scissors to cut a strand of your string.

If you are adding your garland to a wood board, cut your string according to the size of your wood board.

Step 4: Adding Your Beads to Your String

Next, string on your beads and place your burlap hearts between each beaded section.

Next, use your hot glue to attach each of the hearts to the string. Take your heart garland and place it on top of your wood board. Be sure to make any adjustments to your garland before gluing it down onto your wood board. When gluing my garland, I took the ends of the string and wrapped them around the back side of my board. I glued down the ends of the string onto the back of the board. 

Step 5: Adding Wooden Letters to Board

Take your wooden letters and using E6000 or any other heavy-duty adhesive, add your wooden letters to your wood board. I decided to add my letters to a corner of my board. 

Step 6: Heart Garland Complete
