Introduction: DIY Jewelry Wall Organizer and Display

About: I'm an IT professional with a master's in library science. I enjoy woodturning, film making, and being frugal. Sometimes I make stuff that isn't horrible.

For this project, I had two goals in mind. I wanted to use pallet material and limited tools, to keep costs down, and I wanted something to display and organize my wife's jewelry and the things she crochets for sale.

The frame is made from one slat off a pallet that once held sod. The back and front are off-cuts from another pallet used to ship mobility supplies.

We've really come to enjoy the combination of shelf and hangers. It's also nice to be able to use it either hanging, or free-standing. This design could easily be modified to fit different spaces, materials, and layouts. Please like and subscribe. And if you build one yourself, let me know!

Required Tools: Block plane, table saw (or circular/jig saw with guide), hammer, pliers/cutters

Misc Supplies: Wood glue, finish nails, sandpaper, picture wire, tung oil
