Introduction: DIY Motorized Mini Aquarium Filter
A DIY tutorial for how to build a micro MOTORIZED aquarium filter! This is an alternative to those pesky sponge filters people normally use for small aquatic habitats. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SALTWATER AQUARIUMS
Parts List:
Pill bottle
Motor and Impeller
Cable
9V battery clip
Battery pack and batteries
6mm Pen Tube
Small piece of screen
Small piece of Duck Tape....or Duct tape...whatever it's called!
Optional: Switch for circuit
Tools List:
Hot gluegun and hot glue sticks
Drill and various drill bits
Scissors
Pliers
Wire Cutters
Wire Strippers
Optional: Soldering Iron/Heatshrink tubing/Wire Glue

really cool! i think i´ll use it to filter tap water...
any dc motor would work? or you need some special one?

Thanks! Yes any dc motor should work. Just be sure you have enough amperage if it's a bigger motor, and that you don't over power it if it's a smaller motor.
