STEP 2: COMPONENTS NEEDED

Get this components from local electronis shop.

* PUSH BUTTON -1

* LED(RED) - 1

* 100 ohm RESISTOR - 1

* BATTERY CLIP - 1

* 9-VOLT BATTERY - 1

* GENERAL PCB - 1

* 7805 - 1

* USB FEMALE - 1

* HEAT SINK TUBE - 1

STEP 3: CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

Circuit diagram for this project.

The battery provides 9-volt. But the charging voltage for mobile phone is 5-volt. Voltage regulator 7805 is used. it gives 5-volt output when it get input above 6-volt.

STEP 4: HET SINK TUBE

Use heat sink tube to close bare opening of the circuit. Also to prevent from short-circuit occurence and compact in hand.

STEP 5: CHECKING BATTERY

The 9-volt battery is not a rechargeable battery. It is to be ensured that the battery can able to give required voltage to charge phone. The LED in the circuit used to check the battery condition. if the battery level decreased the LED doesn't glow this will help us to find the correct battery.

STEP 6: CHARGING MOBILE

The 9-volt battery have a lot of limitation. it doesn't give full charge. because the battery rating is not up to the level.But used to charge mobile to some level which is sufficient for emergency situation.

I don't think it matters in this case. the resistor is the limiting factor. 9-0.7/100 is the maximum current.
I consider the resistor is part of the led.
The design is wrong. The led should be parallel with 5v, not in series

sorry for wrong circuit. know it is changed
