Introduction: DIY Soda Can Planter

In this project you will turn a soda can into a hanging vase or Planter.

Supplies

Soda can, hot glue, paper, yarn, scissors, a screw driver, and tacky glue (any liquid glue will work).

Step 1: Cutting

Cut off the top of the can.

Step 2: Punching the Hole

Use screwdriver to punch a hole on the bottom of the can from step 1.

Step 3: Threading

Thread yarn through the hole.

Step 4: Gluing and Wrapping

Cover outside of the can in glue and wrap yarn around.

Step 5: Cutting the Yarn

Cut two pieces of yarn to be the same length.

Step 6: Making the +

To make the +, cross the two pieces of yarn and tie them together in the middle with a smaller piece.

Step 7: Attaching to Yarn

Glue the 4 points on the pot.

Step 8: Attaching the Ribbon

Cut out a strip of paper and glue it around the top of the can to cover the glue from step 7.
