Then choose the aluminum-zinc plate commonly used in the workshop, but because this bottom plate must be immersed in bath water for a long time, although the surface of the aluminum-zinc plate has a protective layer, but the corrosion resistance of the long-term soaking water is relatively poor, so it was abandoned .
In the end, a high-cost SUS304 stainless steel plate with a thickness of 1 mm was selected, which is not only corrosion-resistant and easy to process, but also has less variables affected by ambient temperature in daily use. It combines so many advantages and is more expensive.

After checking the feasible bathroom renovation cases on the webpage, I learned that there is a silicone water retaining strip that can be formed at one time without splicing, which minimizes the risk of leakage of the finished product. According to the calculation of the perimeter of the stainless steel plate, it is determined to buy a 3 meter long silicone water retaining strip for backup, and at the same time to buy a 3 meter long soft magnetic strip (prepared for self-priming shower curtains), the seller will also send 2 Waterproof silicone, gloves, and utility knife are fairly kind.
The next step is to choose a shower curtain and U-shaped shower curtain track. Because the height from the ground to the ceiling is 2.4 meters, I didn't find a shower curtain that matched this height for a whole night. Step 5: On-site Installation
For the problem that the drainage outlet is 2-3mm higher than the surrounding ground, first determine the installation position and shape with a pencil according to the shape of the stainless steel base, and then squeeze the waterproof silicone to the ground with a silicone gun. Wait for about 1 hour, and the silicone will become dry. And hard abutment (not fully cured).
Then squeeze a thin layer of waterproof glass silicone on the machine, quickly cover the stainless steel plate, level it on the base with the level app that comes with the phone, and try to tilt the periphery towards the drainage port by about 3 °. After the base has been cured for 4 hours, the silicone has basically hardened. The next task is to paste the silicone water retaining strip according to the shape of the base. ).
Since the side of the base that is near the wall has a side of 90 ° X50mm, in order to prevent bath water from seeping into the wall, the starting position of the silicone waterproof bar must be coated with more silicone, and the end face of the waterproof bar Be sure to cut the voucher to prevent gaps.
Since the two right angles of this base are processed into arc angles of r200, when you stick to this position, you must slowly adjust the arc of the water strip, and close to the angle of the bottom plate, to prevent the water strip and the bottom plate from being completely attached. Risk of leakage.
After the shaping is completed, apply a layer of waterproof glass glue along the gap between the water retaining strip and the bottom plate (the outside is the water retaining strip and the ground), and then use your fingers to form an arc edge.
The installation of the bottom plate is basically completed. Wait for the waterproof silicone to cure.
Step 6: Installing the Shower Curtain Track and Shower Curtain at the Top
Next is the installation of the shower curtain rail and shower curtain at the top.
