Introduction: DIY Treasure Chest and Jewelry Box

Egg cartons make the absolute best containers for little treasures! This week we used some paint and stickers to turn one of our empty egg cartons into this adorable Egg Carton Treasure Chest.

Supplies

  • 1 Paper egg carton without eggs
  • Washable paint
  • Foam paint brushes
  • Glue
  • Stickers, stamps, jewels or other decorative accessories 

Step 1: Paint the Egg Carton

Be sure to paint the inside of your egg carton before painting the outside


Step 2: Decorate the Treasure Chest With Stickers!

Allow paint to dry before adding stickers. We opted for spring-themed stickers, but you can also use stamps, jewels, beads…anything you can successfully stick to your box.
