Thank you:-) it also stays like a fridge in 95˚ F weather with a small window mount 500 watt AC. The whole thing + a fridge runs on less than 800 MAX WATTS and a single 3 watt LED lights the entire space. We have three gas generators and two 5000 watt inverters for solar.

So I'm assuming there's no risk of storm surge/flooding where you live? This is a great idea for higher areas but in low lying areas like the New Orleans area (where I live) it would be a bit impractical and pretty dangerous if flooding occurs.

We are flood zone E so no threat and the shelter is on the highest part of our property. We are pushing 100% of rainfall YTD and for the first time in 40 years our yard was under 10" of water but the shelter area was 2 feet above that. Storm surge is different but we are far enough inland and high enough. New Orleans is a tricky place to bunker for. I hope you have no more big storms. That was really sad/bad:-(
