Create a simple LED pop up card with paper and a parallel paper circuit using copper tape and LED stickers.

Supplies

  • Paper (180gsm)
  • Colour markers
  • Glue
  • Copper tape
  • LED light sticker
  • scissors
  • Battery (3V)


Step 1: Create Your Pop-Up Folds

Draw things that your recipient likes to give them a pleasant surprise.

Use v-fold to make your pop-up stand upright (perpendicular to the card)

Add tab covers to hide your drawings and flip open to show.

Step 2: Create a Parallel Circuit

Use a parallel circuit to add multiple LED stickers on different places of your card.

Paste the battery with double sided tape at a corner

Step 3: Connect Battery, Done!

Put paper circuit behind your pop-up card. Secure battery with binder clip.
